I am a musician (jazz pianist) but I hardly play in Essex at all (musicians have to travel to where the work is) but on Wednesday 1 st April, I shall be performing with Pete Allen at The Chichester Hotel where they hold a monthly jazz club. I'll PM you about this.

I live on the wick and am in Ethereal Fire we are an original 4 piece rock band and we've played all over the country. If you're after unsigned original artists from the local area like us all we want to do is put on a good show for a good crowd if you can get enough people to come and watch regularly the venue will get a good rep amongst bands. Usually 50 quid per band just covers petrol or goes towards studio time. Also from experience if you only have 3 hours you would only get 2-3 bands on in that time because of gear changeover.
