Anyone know of a nice hotel with spa facilities? Or a cottage with a hot tub in the lakes?
Andrew C. replied:
Highly recommend Manesty cottages... http://m.manesty.co.uk/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.manesty.co.uk%2F&dm_redirected=true#2565 ... on the banks of derwentwater, right at the base of Cat bells. It's only a 5 -10 minute walk to some great pubs and the lovely cafes in Grange. Has an amazing outdoor hottub you can hire for the day... it's natural so you light a fire in the back, fill with water and leave for the day whilst you go hiking. The owner will keep the fire going. You then return from the hills and rest your weary legs looking out over derwentwater ☺
