I'm a bit old fashioned I guess but I'm still wearing the leather Brasher boots I bought at John Gaynor's in Ambleside umpteen years ago. I could wear them all day without any aches, pains or blisters. They still polish up shiny like new and can be resoled at Lancashire Sports Repairs if and when needed.
