Any good dentist recommendations?
(One that accepts blue cross dental insurance)
I live in Bronson . Thanks
George A. replied:
Try Debbie Hoskins in Williston. I am not sure if she takes your insurance, but it's worth the phone call. She is a great dentist.
Summer B. replied:
Definitely Dr. Hoskins!

Nancy E. replied:
Cindy, I do believe you would like Dr. Ken Schwiebert. We have used him since he has been in Williston...25+years. Williston General Dentistry. 528-4008
Michael M. replied:
I like Christy Dental also, the list they give you is a treatment plan silly, that is normal for a good dentist to do. They are recommendations upon your initial visit, i went to Aspen in Ocala and they did the same, but their prices were much much higher. Recommendations are not mandatory, but remember they are not UNICEF, they like other businesses are for profit, but ethics are hard to find and Christy Dental has them, Dr. Burney, Jenny the gorgeous assistant, and Debbie the hygienist are awesome!
Judie M. replied:
I go to Dr. Burney at Christie Dental in Williston. The while staff is awesome
Pamela M. replied:
Dr. Hoskins in Williston. 528-4008.
Cindy C. replied:
I went to Christy dental for a cleaning and they never gave it to me. They gave me a sheet of paper telling me to come back and start having all this work done. It totaled over $7,000.!! All I wanted was a cleaning and tell me if I needed any fillings, I didn't need to know that they wanted to take out wisdom teeth that never bothered me or replace caps and everything else I have been living with. I never went back! I now go to Dr. Ledger in Homosassa and he is great! Problem is he doesn't take insurance and I too will be in the market for a dentist closer that really cares and takes Florida Blue insurance.
Does anybody know where I can find a dentist that pull teeth reasonable

Looking for a dentist that is good with kids "8 & 4" and takes Medicaid.
Leona B. replied:
Palms medical group (dental) williston 529-2447 or 528-2447 ext 1717
Kristin S. replied:
Kids Only in Haile Plantation is wonderful, not sure if they are Medicaid provider but it's worth a call to see. My kids love going
Brittany T. replied:
I use the Dental Team of Ocala for one of my kids, and I use Palm Dentistry for the other. It depends who your managed care plan is through Medicaid. My kids gave 2 different ones so that's why I have to use 2 dentists, but I highly recommend both of these, and I have used Dental Team of Ocala for over 4 years. They are amazing. Just started at Palms, but they are really good too!

Millhopper Family Dentistry, in Gainesville! I also am a coward when it comes to the dentist, even a simple routine cleaning. I've had personal experience with Dr. McDonald and wouldn't go anywhere else. http://www.millhopperfamilydentistry.com/about.htm
Cindy C. replied:
thanks, we live between Romeo and Morriston so I want to find someone down this way. No farther north than Williston. I currently go to Dr. Ledger in Homosassa but that is a good drive too and he doesn't deal with insurance companies. I can't afford that big cash layout each time I go to the dentist so this is why I am looking for another one.
George A. replied:
And his partner Debbie Hoskins is terrific too!
Cindy C. replied:
I called Dr. Hoskins at Williston Dentistry and they are not in network with my Florida Blue Dental plan. I am still searching, have found Stickney Dental on 200 who sounds o.k. I was told by Hoskins office that there are only 2 dental offices in Williston.
Shane C. replied:
I use Milhopper Family dentistry. I dont have insurance but they will file claims for you. Dr.Spooner has been awesome with me up to doing some work out of the goodness in his heart to make me feel better. I will suggest them any day

Dr. Schweibert in Williston. He is the best dentist I've ever been to. Patient and believes in no pain dentistry. He will not be quick to refer you to an oral surgeon, either. He believes the General Dentistry includes pulling teeth. Address: 173 N Main St, Williston, FL 32696 Phone:(352) 528-4008 Hours: Open today · 8AM–5PM

Patty B. replied:
I see this dentist. I heard good things about him and have been myself 3 times now. I really like them and I’m a terribly nervous patient too. Was 20 years since my last dental visit prior to seeing him. http://www.allinfamilydentistry.com
Angie N. replied:
Dr. Sutton, DDS in Ocala is great, makes sure you are comfortable and is also an oral surgeon so he does not have to refer you out to any other offices for any procedures.
