Anyone in Wilmington have a mechanic they would recommend? I need my timing belt replaced, and everyone seems to want my first born for the job.

Yes! JS & J Auto on Market Street...they are AWESOME. Very reasonably priced, good Christian man owns the place, so nice and they always make time for you. It's on the corner of Market and Martin Luther.
Anybody know of a good mechanic in the Wilmington area??

Lol@Eric. Not downing Low Range at all, I'm friendly with those guys and they do good work but I think even they would laugh at that post. 57 Auto Service is here to help in any way we can if you need us Zack, we love Jeeps as well.

Seems like mobiletech is getting a lot of votes. It seems they specialize in imports. Would they be good for a jeep? Another with good reviews is Atlantic Car Care. Anyone have any experience with them?
James B. replied:
The biggest problem is that most these shops get good reviews but a lot of ppl dont realize they are making ppl think they need all these little parts that are fine. Pete Brew is a great person him an his dad run grissoms they are located on castle street. Look them up they will do any little job to anything big like rebuilding 18 wheeler motors. U name it

For anything we can't handle ourselves, Green Meadow Garage does for my 2001 Cherokee. They'll tell you what must be fixed now, what can wait, & what can be done as a cheap fix to try before spending "big" money. If there's something they can't handle, they'll recommend other places to try.
Chris K. replied:
Jeff Nelson at blacks on market knows his stuff. For anything beyond general maintenance/upgrades Low Range 4 x4 hands down.
