Liz Hyers, I am the Sales Director for Boston Appliance. I sell those, and my boss has one, he does not like it either. If you do have to replace it, may I suggest a Bosch 500 or 800 Series. Super Quiet, has a third rack for larger utensils, SS Tub and so on. If you would like any help picking one out our weighing out the Pros and Cons of different models you can call me at 617 268 7500 ext 14, contact me here on Facebook, or email me at work chris@bostonappliance.net and I'll be more than happy to help.

Btw, I'm secretly hoping I will need to replace it. I hate it. Worst design for a family of six. Surely it was great for the widow that owned our house previous.
