Can anyone recommend a good dentist in Windsor? I've lived here for over three years, and I'm still driving to Sebastopol to go to the dentist. Thanks.

Do you need a dentist or a surgeon? You should probably start with a dentist who can refer you to a dental surgeon if necessary. Here's a previous thread about dentists in the west end: https://www.reddit.com/r/windsorontario/comments/7 czqal/looking_for_a_dentist/

I'm with Dr. Takar at ambassador dental, it's west end, just past Malden and Huron Church. I have two friends that see another dentist in that office and say he's great also. I highly recommend them. It took me three dentists that I hated before coming here and finally finding someone I liked. http://ambassadordentalgroup.com/mobile/

Dr. Simon Wu. He’s located on university and Campbell. Not a dental surgeon but has great prices .

Anyone know if Dentists are still open during lockdown? I believe I am having a tooth infection and I currently don't have a dentist I go to in Windsor. Does anyone have...
gnext23 replied:
Don't mess around with an infection, that can spread in your body. Call around until you find someone to help.
butterscotchwhip replied:
Call any Windsor dentist, they should have an on call rota number on their machine. They’re not really checking who’s a registered patient and who’s not right now. Probably just get antibiotics script phoned in, unlikely to see anyone unless it’s a serious emergency.
XeNova133 replied:
I believe if it's an emergency they schedule you so just call and you should get one, I had a relative get surgery for his root canal yesterday.
AnyAnonIndividual replied:
I believe my dentist (Great Lakes Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Centre) is seeing only emergencies so if you still havent found anyone to help, perhaps try there
LeChatNoir04 replied:
They're supposed to be open, they're considered an essential service. I don't know how they're interacting with the patients, but, worse case scenario, they'll prescribe you some antibiotics or anti-inflammatory for the time being, which should help until things are better.
We like Chun family dentists a lot. We tried the guy on Windsor River Road near McDonald's and I thought he was trying to sell us on things. Much prefer Chun dentistry.
Ellie Y. replied:
Scott Family Dental takes MetLife. My daughter and I just went last week and really liked everyone there.
