oops, car is over it's 3000 mile oil change! Suggestions in the area for fast reasonably priced service!
Bill B. replied:
We just use Midas on Silas Creek - it's usually pretty fast. Not every car needs the oil changed at 3000 miles (that's more of a recommendation from the people who change oil). Depending on the age of the car, most cars can go 5000 to even 10000 miles without an oil change. If you still have the manual, you might want to check it. Here's a coupon offer from their website: http://www.midas.com/greensboro/offers.aspx?shopnum=3906&dmanum=352

Stay away from Jiffy Lube on Stratford Rd. They always tried to sell me something I did not need whenever I went there.

Meineke franchise on Salisbury Ridge Rd (off Silas Crk Pky near Lockland) 336-721-1440. Look for Meineke coupons in Valpak or Wed/Sun Sentinel inserts.
Never do I ever recommend precision auto care. Went in for a simple oil change and said I need to spend 90-100$. I understand I'm a woman but I'm not stupid!
