Kate M. replied:
Chad Tanney at CarolinaMassage (Reynolda, just past Bethabara) is a god. Seriously. He doesn't go where the knot is but goes to ALL of the tight muscles that have given rise to it. He's very, very knowledgeable and skilled. He'll ask you to undress, which I know is a problem for some, but I'm 70 and way past that kind of modesty. It didn't bother me a bit. He won't insist on this, but he'll be able to do a much better job if he has direct access. One of my problems, which he solved beautifully, was a tension knot.

PM Miranda Bunge. She has a PhD in physical therapy (which includes deep tissue massage); as well she is trained in dry needle therapy, which is AMAZING though not for everyone. She fixed my lower back last year. I went from constant pain and being afraid to move to building fences and tree houses!
