Dr Framm and his daughter, Dr Sklar, in Vienna. They have been the family eye doctor since before I was born. Dr Sklar is awesome at cataract surgery(lens replacement).

Do you have vision insurance? (VSP or anything like that) If you do, check their site and it'll include a list of places. The normal chains don't usually take insurance

We use Dr Derespinas, he is fantastic! Yes, the wait is crazy. The first time I tried to get an appointment, I had to wait like 6-7 months. There is also a chinese Dr in there, I forget his name.

We started out at Derespinas' group…saw Pearlstein there. However, my kids had extensive issues and we now see a fantastic Dr in NYC…Dr Mark Steele…He has performed 2 surgeries on my son and one on my daughter. We see quite a few specialists and he by far is our favorite. Awesome rapport with the kids and parents alike. Can't say enough about him

My youngest son managed to stab himself in the eye with a steak knife a few years ago. He had a few surgeries in the Eye & Ear Hospital in Manhattan and then we followed up with a specialist there for a couple of years. I just want to see somebody locally now as he missed so much school when we were going to Manhattan.
