These guys: http://www.woodburyautoservice.com/ I've been going to them for years. They've never tried to sell me anything additional or scam me for more money. They're good and quick and friendly. They even gave me a ride home once when my car was kaput.

I have heard good things about Carver Auto.

My wife takes her car to Carver Auto all the time. One time I took my father's car to the Dealership to fix something. Then they told me something else needed repair. Took it to Carver for a 2 nd opinion and they told me there was nothing wrong with what the dealership claimed. So, they saved me some $$.

LaMotte and Sons in Newport. Scary neighborhood, great prices, and quality work. But don't tell too many people, it's a small shop and we like getting in fast!

Woodbury Car Car. Tony's cousin works there and has always done EVERYTHING on our cars & we have him work on Tony's bike as well. If you go in ask For Jim & tell him your my cousin.
Any recommendations on a good car repair place in the Woodbury Area?
Mitch K. replied:
Merit Chevrolet off of 94 and Century Ave. Maplewood/Woodbury border. My dad used to work there. They have a good body shop and service department. If it's body work talk to Pat in the body shop, if it's service work, talk to Brock. 651-739-4400.

If you're willing to venture north to Hugo, North Country Auto Body does great work - it's my neighbor's shop.

Used to go to Carver General Repair off of Century when I lived in Woodbury. I now go to Peabody's Garage in Hudson. Both are good places, feel like fair prices, staff is friendly. Only downside at Peabody's is its run by pretty much one guy, Corey Peabody, so sometimes turn time is a little long because his prices are good and he doesn't have much for staff.
