Can anybody recommend a good local tattoo artist? My idea shouldn't be too difficult, but I don't want it to be screwed up like the ones on my hands.

My sister and I both used https://www.facebook.com/555 studios and we both loved the work and prices. He's a one man shop and does the most unique work. Not your typical book place.

Jon at Uptown Tattoo - though there's quite a waiting list.

Mine are from Thaddeus at Shahn Anderson's Electric Dragonland Tattoo Studio. I know of a couple other friends who've gotten good work from him and other artists there too. Only down side is that it takes a while to get in for an appointment because they are good and therefore in high demand.

Scott N. replied:

Scott Nicklay apparently hasn't realized that thanks to our shiny new mortgage & that pesky little thing called a baby he won't be spending money on new tats any time soon.
Looking at getting my first tattoo... looking for an artist that can design it and will help me develop my idea of what I want. Any suggestions of an artist in...
