Can anyone recommend a low income dentist? My brother is in a lot of pain due to an inflamed and possibly infected tooth. He doesn't have a lot of money to throw around...

There is [this](http://pschristianclinic.org/general-information). It's a free clinic in North Seattle run by a christian group.

Most dentists I know make really good money.

These look like good options just make sure you go right away. If his face is swollen up, it is likely that they will have to give antibiotics to kill the infection and have him come back later when the swelling is gone to deal with the tooth. This will buy you some time to come up with money. It will probably cost 5-600 dollars when it is all done. THe infections are dangerous and can sometimes spread to the heart and cause a heart attack!

you're not going to find a free dentist. best bet is to go get the work done, and pay the bill that you get when you can.

Try the University Dental School

George Davis in Burien will sometime work with people that need payment plans.

There is a community clinic on yesler that charges on a sliding scale based on income and they are good
huckflen replied:
If he's in Woodinville as well, you might ask Gentle Dental. They offer payment plans, and I've gone in for emergency stuff before and not even gotten a bill. Maybe my dentist was just exceptionally awesome, but I chipped a huge piece of my front tooth off and they fixed it free of charge on a Friday night. (It was my own damn fault, not something they'd worked on before, totally unrelated to any dental experience I'd had with them). Calling is free - and it never hurts to ask if they can help! =)

SeaMar Community Health and Dental clinic. They provide service regardless of ability to pay.
wellmaybe replied:
[ICHS](http://www.ichs.com/dental) provides a sliding scale payment system for uninsured patients, whereby the billing amount is based on the patient's income. A zero-income person would see billing amount that is very close to the amount an insured patient would see elsewhere that does not implement the sliding scale payment system.

You might try Bright Dental at the Northgate Mall (2063362100); I have insurance, but they're the only dentist I've come across I didn't have a copay with(exam, xrays, extractions, and fillings). They may be sliding scale...

Neighbor care health takes walk ins, also check out Shoreline community college or north seattle cc. Both have dental programs (I think) and offer reduced rates.

http://www.vitals.com/dentists/Dr_Michaela_Bobeva-Penova <-- Dr Bobeva has been great. She used to bounce between the Willamette Dental offices in Lynnwood and Bellevue, but it looks like she might be in Bothell these days.
Can anyone suggest a good dentist preferably in Redmond ridge or Else Redmond area.

Dr Shane Ness at Village Dentistry by QFC. His pediatric skills and excellent staff make him the best dentist I've ever seen. We've been seeing him for 8 years. My parents also see him and my dad is a retired dentist.
