If you need prepared meals, Eat Local is an option. The meals are frozen (like a local healthy TV dinner). You can get the glass containers and stick in the oven (or micro if you must). You can also pre-order the meals and pick them up or even and have them delivered to your hotel. It's convenient if you need something to take with you. They also have some kombucha and other local things. They're a little pricey, but it's all clearly labeled gluten free, dairy free, etc. Brittle Pickle in Pike Place has fresh sauerkraut and kimchee.

Liana Crill we Seattlites love our Tom Douglas. I recommend Lola, Dahlia Lounge or Dahlia Bakery, all conveniently located next to eachother on 4 th ave in Belltown. Cuoco is another great one. Haven't been to any others. Also, It isnt downtown at all but I can't say enough about Chaco Canyon in University District. Lovely atmosphere and super creative menu!
Shaun M. replied:
Boat Street is great, and the chef has two newer restaurants as well; The Whale Wins (tried recently and it was amazing) and The Walrus and the Carpenter (have not tried but will.) I need to bookmark this thread! Wow!
Alison M. replied:
Ah, near the Convention Center - which is on Pike Street. Walk Pike toward the waterfront and you end up in the Pike Place Market. You know your standards and you can basically eat your way through most places there, making adjustments as needed. Buried in there is Britt's Pickles www.brittsliveculturefoods.com Which is mainly walk-away sales but their pickles are live.
Kyle R. replied:
I have heard good things about Local360 which is downtown. Also Whole Foods is not far from you. You could walk it or the is a tram near that area.
Alison M. replied:
Yup, that Whole Foods is the "other way" toward South Lake Union along Westlake Ave.
Hello my FB friends! I am looking for a referral for a Seattle restaurant that has a great brunch? Have you been to one that you would suggest???
Thanks so much!

Jonathan L. replied:
Portage Bay Cafe, south Lake Union is incredible.
Renee R. replied:
Dawne Allen Owen let us know which one you chose . We will have to try all of these great restaurants!
Dawne O. replied:
Thank you to all of Renee's great friends and their brunch recommendations! We ended up at Toulouse Petit on Queen Anne Ave. If you have not been there, I highly recommend it! It was AMAZING.
Does anybody know a good restaurant at Woodenville?
Bellina C. replied:
I mean there's your typical places like Red Robin, Panera, Pallino etc, but there is this newer place called Big Fish Grill. Other than that it's either fast food or just typical chains. A lot of people also like Ezells chicken, but they're small and I don't think there are any tables. Omg actually try Teddy's Burgers!! They're really good!
