Sarah Crampton is great as first aid trainer. I'm actually in St John Ambulance and could not get first aid training for work!

Have a look at holos http://www.holoshealthcare.co.uk/ I rate them highly. Really personable and knowledgeable. Way more flexible than St. John's though I know they are good too. We had holos round the house for a family training day. Well worth it.

I used the Red Cross centre in Maidstone a few years ago - don't know if they still do it there
