New England Eye Center in Framingham is where I take my son. They're fantastic and worth the drive.
Rebecca N. replied:
Dr Kazarian I would stay away from he has missed diagnosed patients children I have known not just hear say. Dr Gise is great yes he is very up front and very direct but he tells it like it is.
Michelle M. replied:
Dr. Thamel(sp) in Worcester and Spencer.
Heather P. replied:
MCPHS has a great pediatric vision center 508-373-5830 and they are right in Worcester. They took awesome care of my daughter.
Sarah A. replied:
Dr Gise, is very good...bedside manner lightens if you have a dog!
Valerie B. replied:
We use Dr. Kazarian in Worcester, but if you are looking for Boston (as that is what came up for a city on your post) we also use the Beetham Eye Clinic at the Joslin Clinic. They are exceptional!
Recommendations needed: local eye doctor for kids contacts

When Jack was little and we needed emergency help, we would always go to Dr. Casey in Shrewsbury. He really went above and beyond to help us out especially when i had trouble getting them in and out by myself.
Lauren M. replied:
Dr Matt Forgues! He lives in shrews and had kids in shrews. He is the best and also our cousin . Right on rt 9 next to post office in shrews.
Sandra G. replied:
We take our boys to Dr. Casey@Shrewsbury family eye care in center of town.
Brenda S. replied:
We use Dr. Casey as well in Shrewsbury, he's great with the kids, and the other Dr's are as well.
Dadene G. replied:
I second Dr. Matt Forgues - love him! Brings his kids to work

Natasha Colonero I go to Dr. Casey next to Shrewsbury Pizzeria in the center. I took Cameron there too.
Steve L. replied:
Jean Keamy in Westboro. Same price as the "optometrist" but she's an Ivy educated ophthalmologist. Tell her you spoke to me. Her phone and info is on all of the Shrewsbury Lantern pages.
Matt S. replied:
Matt Forgues - super awesome cool dude & knows his stuff - My wife and I have been going to him since 2000. He evaluated me for lazik. And now I don't need glasses. Monika still goes to him. He is always state-of-the-art & has a good head on his shoulders. Very friendly guy too & will explain optometry to you if you ask questions.
Dawn D. replied:
My boys go to Worcester Ophthalmology and see Dr. Anderson or Dr. Gallo. It's on Oak Ave in Worcester, right after UMass/Memorial Hospital. Very happy with them and their service.
Cynthia K. replied:
Hubby and I go to Dr. Gallo and he, too, is great... didn't realize his practice saw kids though (he has two teen boys of his own).
Dana A. replied:
Dr. Anderson at worcester opthamology. My 13 yo daughter was just fitted for contacts there, and they were very patient while she was learning to put them in and take them out.
