Try Michelle Hlava Optometrists in S.west. they do wonders! They give eye excersizes. Helped my daughter alot!

We are also going to Michelle Hlava tomorrow with Josh! They specialize in school readiness!

My daughter had a lazy eye, and we were referred to Dr Gavin Galloway, he is a Peadiatric Ophthalmologist, he used to be situated in Wynberg.

Hi Robyn - I think what you are describing as 'lazy' eye is actually called ptosis (drooping of the upper eyelid). I would recommend seeing a plastic surgeon - you can try Dr Winkler at 31 Bright Street 087 6300183 who does ocularplatics. This is not a eye or eye sight problem.

Hi Robyn, depending on the 'degree of laziness', my daughter also has/had one, we visited the Optometrist at Checkers Centre at the mall, she does a test to determine the problem, and then gives you specific eye tests to be done, after a couple of months,you go back for reassessment, and then they determine from there if she needs glasses or whatever.
