If you're looking to purchase (as opposed to renting) equipment, I can recommend Skalnik. I purchased several items for climbing there. The staff is quite knowledgeable and they carry many different brands. If they don't have something in stock, they can order it and have it shipped to you or to the shop, where you can pick it up. If you're a student, I think you also get a discount on certain items. They have a few locations in Wrocław. https://www.skalnik.pl/sprzet-wspinaczkowy.html

If you are looking for an indoor climbing and bouldering gym, Zerwa (at the University of Wrocław) is not too expensive. You can rent shoes, harness, chalk bag, chalk, ropes, carabiners, etc. http://zerwa.pl/

Decathlon also carries some climbing equipment, but the range is somewhat limited. https://www.decathlon.pl/C-893096-wspinaczka (more is available online than in the store)

Try avoiding the service points in big shopping centers. 1- it's more expensive 2. you will never know if the guy is actually any good at fixing shoes- I had mine high heel lether boots ruined (they actually shaved off the heels instead of just replacing the old rubber ends) by the one in Borek. Hala Targowa is the safest option.

Whatever you do, don;t go to Mister Minit in Pasaż Grunwaldzki. Worst service ever!

Galeria Dominikanska: ground floor, the same place to make keys. They did my 2 pairs of shoes within one day. Hala Torgowa - I tried them but they were too slow, 2 or 3 days to get it done. The best place was at Renoma (floor -1). They were doing it immediately, within 10 min. But they are no longer there...

There are a few sport shops in the Factory (now Fashion?) Outlet just outside Nowy Dwór: Puma, Asics, Adidas, Nike and maybe more. That's where I buy my running shoes. I don't know if they speak English though.
