Kan Nan - blueberry is challenging in YGN as 1) no blueberries grown in country 2) blueberries brought in must be brought in frozen and cost is very high. Having said that, YangonBakehouse has been able to secure sourcing of good quality (but expensive) frozen blueberries now and we are beginning to do blueberry and blueberry / apple baked goods in limited quantities to meet some demand. However, honestly the best focus is on local fruit products - for the good of the local food supply chain and for best quality. Apples, mangoes, pineapples, pears etc grown in country are going to result in better quality and lower costs. But understand the desire sometimes to have something !
