Does anyone have any input on The Hideaway community and/or houses built by SEDA builders? Thanks in advance!
Colleen B. replied:
I've sold a few SEDA homes and haven't had any issues or complaints from my homeowners
Sarah M. replied:
We live in the hideaway and have been here almost two years. The community and its Facebook group are great-people are so good about sharing items in here, helping to jump a car, letting others know when there are sketchy people in the neighborhood, etc. Very family friendly. Have had little to no issues with the house-we bought new. Only issue was a breaker in the garage I think for the outside outlet. We got a lot of house for very little and I really love since they added the turn lane by the safari store on 200 to make it quicker to get into the community from Fernandina.

Al L. replied:
The Hideaway was built using toxic Chinese drywall that snuck in after Hurricane Katrina for rebuilding efforts. The high sulfur drywall causes respiratory issues, electrical issues, corrosion of copper, rashes, etc. The guy I knew walked away from his place in 2009 due to what happened and let the bank have it. SEDA is a joke. Blow and go construction with minimal quality control. Do yourself a favor and hire a local custom homebuilder. https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=114182073

Bristol Oaks or Oaks at Bristol. The Adams Homes Neighborhood.
Janet M. replied:
It is Oaks at Bristol off Chester Rd. Love it here but Internet is non existent via Comcast or ATT. Seems someone would WANT to get their business in here as there will be about 50 homes here. Adams homes owns homeowners assoc. guess we are stuck until the right person/persons get their stuff together. In the meantime I plan on being a squeeky wheel!
