Ms. Romano as a 43 year residential licensed plumber you would be much better served getting a professional appliance service person familiar with your brand of dishwasher to do your repair. A handyman, while good at some things, would probably not have the experience with a specific make and model and end up costing you more than is necessary to repair your appliance. Good luck.

Fixed a dishwasher for a property I manage in the neighborhood quickly and at a great price. 919-847-2151 I had called my handyman first and he mentioned the same thing Frank Bumbardatore mentioned. So he gave me the name and number of an appliance store who then referred me to Michael as the repair person.
