Al fresco B'zebbugia, does gluten free pizza (home made basis). Sapori and Tra Amici in B'kara, have some gluten free food. Wine bar at fontanella, can offer gluten free crackers with the platters, while fontanella has a selection of gluten free cakes. The cottage, makes home made gluten free pizza. There are a few others, but these are the ones that just came in mind

Maria Aquilina S wheat starch can be gluten free as well. The gluten would be washed out till it becomes <20 ppm = gluten free. Some coeliac still can't take them - they react to it...

Liana Maria Mercieca I have never been but when Coeliac Association organised the seminar in which the Director of policy of coeliac UK spoke about the new law, only 2 or 3 restauranteurs attended as far as I was aware. Alfresco and China house were there. So they are aware and made an effort to attend. Good sign in my opinion.

I go there regularly, and one of the owners ( Melanie Xerri de Caro) is very aware about cross contamination.
