The docs at University of Chicago School of Medicine are top notch. Since it is a teaching hospital, they are very thorough, patient, answer all your questions, etc.

Rush & Rush Oak Park are supposed to be some of the best in the US, I personally have not used them though. If you do not mind traveling (or are in that area), Scott Berger at Suburban Gastroenterology in Naperville \ Plainfield is great to work with. He has a hell of a long wait list, but in my experience, it has been worth it. Does not over prescribe and thoroughly looks into issues and is responsive to issues fast.

I saw (Michael Williams)[http://finddoctor.nm.org/physician/show/Williams_Michael_5798] and though he was pretty chill, listened well, explained things, and took a reasonable conservative approach.

Sorry to hear your previous doctors weren't listening. Try using https://www.ratemds.com/ to try and find a better one. Also if you want to help others, you can leave a review about the doctors who were dismissive to you.

Yes, I recommend Dr. Gutty McBowels. Very good reviews ever since he got out of prison. Cheap too! Office moves whenever his van finds a new parking space. He is unfairly harrassed by Evanston law enforcement. Give the man a chance at redemption.

Dr. Domanico in The Loop removed my wisdom teeth years ago. He did a great job. It should be covered by medical insurance, not dental, so hopefully not too expensive. Good luck.

Frank Fengs office on Sheridan . I had wisdom tooth pulled. Took 10 minutes ...no pain and was $180. They also take all insurances.
