About us
Initially started with a focus on offering dog walking services, District Dogs began with Jacob as the sole employee. Growing slowly with each new client, within two years the business included a team of walkers that covered the majority of Northwest DC neighborhoods. District Dogs soon gained a reputation as the go-to pet care company for warm, thoughtful, and outstanding service. Our clients will tell you that we pride ourselves in going above and beyond for every dog in our care.
In the fall of 2016, District Dogs opened a storefront in DC’s Park View neighborhood, fulfilling Jacob’s vision of building a full-service pet care company. Located on Georgia Avenue, our new space features daycare, overnight boarding, bathing, and a curated retail shop for dogs and dog-lovers alike. We love being a part of this vibrant community and offering even more ways to help our clients provide top-shelf care for their furry friends!
Any recommendations for Dog daycares IN DC? We've been looking for some good dog daycares to take our dog to sometime during the week as we don't have a yard for him to burn some energy in. We tried doozy dog club but he seemed to hate it and never wanted to go. So I'm just looking for a new place, we live in Penn Quarter but I have a car so I can drive places in the district.

We JUST started using [District Dogs](http://www.districtdogs.com/) at 3210 Georgia Ave NW yesterday. So far, our boy has been pretty happy with it, and their people are incredibly nice. Facilities are good, registration process is painless, and they have somewhat reasonable rates for DC. Our alternative is out in Beltsville, but that seems like an unreasonable haul.
Hey, I've newly returned back to the area and need a dog walker ASAP. I live on 14th and Kenyon but frequent the dog park. Any suggestions? Best, Vanessa
