  Hello. I'm not a resident of Wauconda but minutes away. (and a little jealous of the awesome community and togetherness you all have). I rent in Lakemoor and one of the springs on my garage door broke. Yes I could call our landlord and have them fix it but I love living here and hate to call the landlord (who by the way are awesome to us) for every little thing. I can't afford a lot and understand the springs alone are not cheap. I'm shopping around looking for someone who does this on the side who can give me a rough estimate of the parts and labor cost. Sure I can call a business but I wanted to check first with the community to see if someone knows how to do this first. Don't laugh, I youtubed and was ready to do it my self (the same way I fixed my washer) but after talking to others I realize my kids need me and I don't want to risk my life. It's the spring on the right side of the door. I realize I have to replace both. Thank you for your time.
