  You can get some decent new single speeds at [Manifesto Bikes](http://www.wearemanifesto.com). [Homespun Bikes](http://www.homespunbikes.com) is an awesome shop. They're a bike shop and city garden shop. They also host interesting workshops. If you're into learning how to fix your own bike or want to get used bikes and bike parts, there are a number of DIY bike coops in Oakland.
