  It's probably time to download VMWare and use the USB pass through. It's not perfect, but way way more reasonable than reverse engineering the driver with no documentation. If you really do want to reverse engineer it the first tools might be a USB snooper like a Total Phase Beagle (http://www.totalphase.com/products/beagle-usb480/) and then try to recreate it in linux user space with libusb.
