If the fans are running and it is clean, it most likely is a leak... frown emoticon Being an older unit the freon is R12 which is why it is so expensive to charge. When it was charged, the leak should have been repaired though, you shouldn't just charge them wit hout repairing the leak. Have you looked into the different options for replacing it? If you want to just explore your replacement options, give my dad a call, Ken at The Original Lakes Appliance- 654-8667. You never know what he has for specials or wrong orders from another customer etc. It couldn't hurt to let him know what you needed that he could keep his eye out for. In the meantime, if you need any other advice or have any other questions please do not hesitate to reach out.
