Bob Yerkes in Lumberton is THE best. My dryer is over 20 years old. Bobh as had to repair it once for us and I trust his judgement. He will tell you they dont make them like they used to.

So is this correct? Original owner Lakes Appliance, 2 nd owner Lakes Appliance who sold warranty, now today The Original Lakes Appliance owned by the original owner? If so, doesn't the original owner care at all about their name and reputation? Did the 2 nd owner go bankrupt? If they did I suppose the warranty is gone.

There was not a sale, the company closed all the stores. Lakes was in business for close to 25 years, the owner sold the company. New ownner ran the business into the ground and went out of business.. The original owner decided to re-open as The Original Lakes Aplliance.

Try All Brand Appliance. They may know of a repair person who can repair one that old since they sell appliance parts for older model appliances.
