About us
At Forest Gate Farms we strive to provide a natural, peaceful environment for your equine friend. We are a full service boarding and training facility. We turn out seven days a week and clean stalls daily. All horses are fed hay and grain twice a day. Our facility offers large indoor and outdoor arenas, individual and group turn out, round pen, heated and air conditioned viewing room and direct access to trails in the Blackberry Maples Forest Preserve. Forest Gate Farms is owned and operated by Shaun and Emma Florian who have over 50 combined years of equine experience.
Forest Gate Farms also offers lessons to those interested in learning how to ride. We offer lessons to people of all levels of experience, from those who have never been around a horse and want to learn, to those who have experience but want to advance their abilities in both the English and Western disciplines. Forest Gate Farm also has several horses available for shareboard.
