  Moving Company Recommendations for moves within SF! Hi all! I’m facing a little dilemma and was hoping the reddit community could help out. I’m moving from Russian Hill to Mission District. It’s one bedroom with ~20 boxes, two mesh clothes drawers, a couple coffee tables, light bookshelf, nightstand, full-sized bed, and reading sofa (my biggest worry). I’ve heard recommendations on both Delaney Street Movers and Lugg, but would love to hear everyone’s experiences here. Most of my friends moved as a couple from a different city (with 1br apartment full of stuff) or as one person using Lugg to move one piece of furniture. Thanks in advance!

  I've had 2 good experiences with [Oasis Moving Company](http://www.88 moving.com/). Their English can be a little limited (in my experience they speak Mandarin) but they did a great job both times and the rates were really good. I have also used [Route 66](https://route66 moving.com/) in the past, and they were very good as well. They are more expensive and do speak English. I didn't notice anything different about them other than the fact that the move took much longer, but I think it was because I had more stuff and I was moving into a 4 th floor walkup. I'd probably just go back to Oasis next time.

  [Oasis](http://www.88 moving.com/) is the cheapest one I have found, $110/hr for 3 guys and $90 for 2. They're pretty fast/reliable (I have used them 3 times). The one small catch is they might not speak a ton of English (they tend to be recent Chinese immigrants), but it isn't usually a problem. I've recommended them to a few people who do not speak 1 word of Chinese and they loved them. Edit: Oh they seem to be pretty well liked on [Yelp](https://www.yelp.com/biz/oasis-moving-company-san-francisco) too
