We are a pet rescue which takes animals from shelters so the animals are safe when shelter space runs out. We put them in our volunteer foster homes so the animals can get all they need while they await their forever homes. We are open Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons for meet and greets. Not all animals are in attendance at these open hours.
We are now offering full-service veterinary care Monday-Thursday during the day. We provide spays and neuters and dental care for cats and dogs, as well as other basic health services (vaccines, blood work, microchips, etc).
We offer lower-cost spay/neuter services to everyone, but help with other health services on a sliding scale basis with a focus on helping those who can't afford standard veterinary care.
Email us at vetcare@underdogpetrescue.org to make an appointment for veterinary services. See our director's blog at http://underdogpetrescue.wordpress.com/
Can anyone recommend a good and (reasonably) affordable vet for my cat in the neighborhood? I need to take her asap.

Hey C, so sorry to hear this:( https://www.facebook.com/199503806820239 Underdog Pet Rescue of Wisconsin, Inc. has been wonderful for us. Their vet office opens early. Sending lots of snuggles to the little one!!
Can anyone recommend a competent, full service veterinarian nearby? Bonus points if they can see us today.
