  For an optometrist, we like Dr. Amanda Stebbins at [The Spectacle Shoppe](http://thespecshoppe.com/home/) on Sand Lake near Turkey Lake. Like most independent optometrists, the frames and lenses they sell are ridiculously overpriced, but she is great. I don't know how prevalent they are, but she has an optomap machine, which makes the whole dialation thing unnecessary, but is does cost a little extra. Still trying to find a dentist we like.
