Eye Physicians is where Tyler had his 1 st exam, but with him only being 2 we went & had a 2 nd opinion at Orlando Eye assoc & just ended up going there due to them being open on Saturdays. I found not alot of places take them under 6

..Marc Sherman in Longwood. The best! He diagnosed Mallory with exotropia when she was 5 (after other very well respected eye docs missed it). He knows more about eye development than the average pediatric eye doc. And in young children, acuity is rarely the issue but that is what everyone tests for. Focus, alignment, muscle movement are all way more important to make sure the eyes work together.

If you really want to keep on top of eye health, you really need to periodically at least go to a real opthamologist and I recommend Magruder Institute on N. Mills (17-92). They will check EVERY health marker intensively to see if you may be needing cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment, are having any more potentially dangerous problems that an optometrist ( worse some technician ) just isn't going to be looking at.
