  Renting and riding around Portland, OR I visited Portland for the first time this weekend with some friends and wow, what a blast. It seems like a great place to ride, so my friend and I are already talking about going back soon for a riding trip. Can anyone recommend a good rental shop that might possibly have naked / sport bikes for rent? We would be looking for something like Triumph Street Triples if possible. I've seen some places that do touring and dual sport rentals but we are not really looking to tour, just stay within the 1-2 hour radius of the city and hit up mountain twisties. Any recommendations for both day rides and shops would be appreciated.

  The main 2 motorcycle rental (that I know of) in Portland are Eagle Rider and MotoQuest. I don't know if they have the specific bike you're looking for but I would definitely give those two a call to check their inventory. Don't assume from just their website what bikes they have because some of their bikes aren't posted. It's always a good idea to call to see what they have to offer.

  I was out visiting family and I did the same research. Eagle Rider and MotoQuest stood out. So many nice roads out there.

  I rented from Eagle rider when I was in Portland, just got a Triumph bonneville and my SO got a Thruxton. Super fun.
