Plant shops? Are there any tropical plant stores that aren't Home Despot or Lowes in the Loudoun/Fairfax-ish sort of area? I moved here in January and all things considered I haven't really been able to find any good plant stores but I haven't been trying too hard to go out because of corona-plague. I like going for a wander around them to see what's new, and also want to buy some plastic pots and saucers and potting mixes, and talk with folks who know how to grow a Phalaenopsis orchid. Maybe find some cork slabs IRL too. All I've found so far is mainly outdoor landscaping plants and the odd spider plant and fancy expensive ceramic pots. Basically I'm looking for a greenhouse that sells its stuff.

All of the nurseries I go to in thie area are for native outdoor plants. My indoor plants I get from joshsfrogs.com because they are organic and inexpensive. They arrive in great condition as well.
Looking for guidance on acquiring a new tarantula. Hey all. This seemed like a legit place to post this question: I'm looking to acquire a curly haired tarantula as my very first. Does anyone know places in northern New England that have these for sale or can recommend a reputable online dealer where their stock are well treated/can attest to the quality of the merchant? Many thanks in advance.

Can anyone attest to the quality of joshsfrogs.com?
Getting a dumpy frog Hello, I am new and thinking about getting a White’s tree frog and was wondering where to get one, any pet stores you recommend (checked multiple in my area but the didn’t have them) or some reliable websites you can recommend?

[joshsfrogs.com](https://joshsfrogs.com) is supposed to be a pretty good supplier from what I hear.
Wholesale Crickets Does anyone have recommendations on buying wholesale crickets? We're realizing we're spending about 50 bucks or more a month on small batches of them for our leopard gecko from the pet store. Any reputable places to buy from, tips for storing that many crickets at once/keeping them alive, etc? Thanks!

Joshsfrogs.com. I have a container with a screen cut into it. If you put vermiculite in the bottom before dumping the crickets in, it cuts down on the smell. I put all the egg cartons in that come in the box too and then use josh's water gel and food plus gut load with fruits and veggies. To feed to my critters, I just pick a small piece of the egg crate, shake some off back into the container if there's a ton on it, then shake what I want into my terrarium. I feed crickets to my anole, crestie and my chameleon. only Issue is that in the winter months (I live in Vermont) I can't have them shipped because of the extreme temps.
I'm looking for a business that sells crickets, supers, roaches, BSFL, horns, and silks. I'm really tired of having to order from multiple venders to get the variety I need...*sigh

Joshsfrogs.com they have all that and then some

If shopping online, joshsfrogs.com has good prices and has section of plants for Chams. I shop there, Amazon and lightyourreptiles.com online and Home Depot for the rest. I recommend pothos for super easy live plants. They tell you when they need water (droopy) and have outlived anything else I've had so far. I'm getting a few umbrella trees next myself to help fill in all my XL reptibreeze space! With plants from Home Depot, you just replace top 1/3 soil with organic, spray the whole plant down real quick and preferably cover soil with large river rocks. 😊👍🏻
What's the best place to buy chameleon safe plants? What plants are your favorite?
Anywhere to buy plants already in organic soil? My pothos die so fast
Does anyone know where I can get band crickets from top hat has them but there not responding to my order band crickets don't smell that bad and live long
I have an online friend who would like to know a good resource for flightless fruitflies-she is getting them from a pet store but they all have been dying. Anyone know of a reputable seller? thanks!!!!!!!

Josh and Genesis are the same. He owns it. Good guy and will get them to you fast and in a package that will ensure that they make the trip. Beyond that you could look at many other dart frog vendors. http://www.joshsfrogs.com/ and http://www.neherpetoculture.com/bugs are both well know good companies.
So who's got feeders or where is the best place to buy from. I missed the reptile show today, and wanted to try some horn worms, silk worms and dubia roaches. So now I need to find some on the net. Thanks for the help!
Is zoo med a good brand? I need to get my chameleon a new cage and there is a kit that includes a cage and other things. I just want to know if im wasting my money or not.
Tabitha F. replied:
That's what I meant ha I use their product I have never bought the kit. Most of the time those kits have the bare minimum so additions maybe be needed but if your just using it for the cage.I would recommend Joshsfrogs.com for screan cages they have great prices
