  looking for a nice place to have Thanksgiving dinner. Do not want Cracker B too noisy and been there done that. Any suggestions that would have a good ole home cooked Thanksgiving dinner.

  Bright Star is open on Thanksgiving but they normally have a limited menu that day. Ex. Ham, sweet potatoes, etc. or an alternate Greek steak with roasted Greek potatoes, etc. I haven't checked with them this year though. Call and ask. They're super nice. Their number is (205) 426-1861.

  I really enjoyed Bright Star restaurant in Bessemer when I went a few birthdays ago. Old time fancy restaurant atmosphere with good food! It is an era and a treasure that needs a certain appreciation.
