  Can anyone recommend a vet in or near Downtown (we don't have a car) Jersey City. I've been to Downtown Veterinary Associates on 1st street about 4 years ago and although it's close by my experience there made me uncomfortable. Thanks for any advice. Would be willing to try a vet outside DJC if you've had a stellar experience.

  Dr. Simon at Newport Vet around the corner from the newport path station saved my dogs life. He burst a disc in his neck and was paralyzed from the neck down. she had him diagnosed within minutes and had me send him into surgery immediately.
