Dror is a pleasant guy and decent architect, but in our (admittedly) short project with him, he did not display great creativity or imagination. I can recommend him for basic projects, but did not see architectural greatness.
I called Dror a little over a year ago, on the recommendation of a friend, to help us develop concept drawings for a house we were considering buying. In fairness to Dror, we had a very tight timeline, I was traveling, and we needed someone to quickly give us some basic drawings of what was possible so we could get cost estimates for the renovation.
Perhaps we should have been clearer in describing what we wanted, or maybe he should have demanded more background or information up front. However, neither of those things happened, and Dror ended up taking longer than we wanted to get the initial sketches done, and he did not demonstrate much creative flair or imagination in what he did submit.
He was pleasant to deal with, and he did try to help us, but ultimately we were looking for basic concepts that might work, and use those to help determine our decision to buy the house or not. What we ended up with were some fairly expensive drawings of the suggestions we made, rather than getting the benefit of a great architect opening up our minds to what might be possible.
In the end, we did not buy the house. but six months later, when we bought another house which also required significant work, we did not consider using Dror. So, my bottom line is that he seems to have the basic skills, and is nice to work with, but we felt he lacked innovativeness and agility.
