Dr. Atesse at Clinique Medic Elle is really good. I switched clinics because I have all my needs met elsewhere, but this is a good spot. Fairly busy because it's located on Sherbrooke West. Here's their website for more information: http://www.cliniquemedicelle.com
Can anyone refer a family doctor. Preferably a woman .
Maria M. replied:
First and foremost you need a referral. See your nearest walk-in clinic and they can give you one. After that, call Medic Elle(Downtown) and ask for a family doctor. They are currently taking new patients without a long wait, or no wait at all. I hope this helps you! đŸ™‚ Medic Elle: (514)788-2888
Does anyone know how to go about finding an OBGYN in the West Island, mine passed away and the phone number is out of service. Other than waiting 5 hours for a referral at StatCare. Is there another way??
Maria V. replied:
In terms of finding doctors who are willing/able to take new patients. The West Island is not all that helpful. In my own opinion. I reached out to a few clinics in downtown, not only were they incredibly helpful, and kind. They are also taking new patients. This is where I go. Call them, and explain to them the exact details of your current situation. It's most likely that they could help you. I hope! Medic Elle. (514) 788-2888 1980 Sherbrooke Ouest. Easy street parking and 5 mins walk from Concordia metro station.
After a 3 hour wait at Stat Care and not having had good experiences at Brunswick Medical, can you recommend a good walk-in clinic?
Maria V. replied:
I highly recommend you Medic Elle. (514)788-2888 No, it's not on the West Island. It's in Westmount, walking distance from the metro. They are very kind, professional, a beautiful and squeaky clean clinic. Only by appointment but no need to wait months for one. I don't know what your situation is, I still do strongly suggest for you to call them and see if they can help you. They open Monday-Friday 9 am-4 pm.
