We all feel like we are messed up. L uckily & thankfully -we preach Biblical Truth. We do not sway from that. It will convict us all of any sin we are struggling with- as the Bible should do. I hope & pray anyone would feel comfortable to walk through our doors.Kristy H. replied:To explain the"Come as you are" from my churches prospective (in my opinion): We do not care what you wear. We care about your best heart, not your best clothes. We want to reach those who are lost & do not know The Lord. We would never require them to have a dress code to enter. If a homeless man or woman wants to come to church- they are welcome. We do not expect them dress up. We want them to feel welcome to walk in our doors. There are no clothes I could put on to be "worthy", but Jesus loves me anyways. Jesus consistently used the "least of these" to reach people for His Kingdom. Our church is messy. I wouldn't have it any other way. People come who are broken, lost, burned by another church, distraught, heartbroken, angry, bitter, hopeless and so on.... They are welcome- just as they are. The same way Jesus loves us-right now- right where we are. Sorry to go on & on. If people do not feel welcome and comfortable to walk in our doors there's a problem. So,I hope to see some of you at The Bridge Fellowship . If not, I hope & pray you find a wonderful church to call home. God has provided many of His churches for you to pick from. God bless you all!Colette C. replied:At the bridge fellowship we have life groups I encourage all to get involved in one of these we meet once a week at our leaders house it gives you a chance to meet other couples or single people who have the same problems or concerns and makes you bond and grow together it's nice knowing your not alone when sometimes you feel as if your the only one who has these strugglesTrina K. replied:The Bridge Fellowship is a casual atmosphere.
