  Well Winter is here and a mix of old batteries, lack of use and broke glow plug module my truck is dead..... thing is it was owned by a butcher and it has mis-matched batteries and I've no clue where to look to find out what batteries it needs then to cross ref to a UK battery... I can refit the original side mount type as lucky the idiot before didn't cut connectors off but bolted short leads with the common clamp type connection.. all I know is its a big diesel V8 so will need good amps.... can anybody advise and secondly any good places to buy... as batteries seem to have gone way up in price of late.... truck is a 2001 Chevy Silverado 3500 LB7 6.6 Turbo diesel V8

  I agree with Susan Thornton I just paid £108 each for 4 AGM 120 amp batteries with normally cost about £200. These type of batteries last approx 10 years compared to approx 5 years for normal ones Call 01684-298800
