Any sources would be great. Problem in USA is Toyota can not look up the VIN/frame Number so I'm at a loss. Vin decoders on Internet do not reveal much. Could anyone provide me with much needed info.   EPC wise it needs to be ablee to cover the General Area - that is where I have just found it. There also versions of the newer Microcat floating around for download that will cover it. If you can't get the download look for www.toyodiy.com and use that.

The rear break on the driver's site makes a squeaking noise and I suspect it needs new pads and some adjustment. Breaking power is still ok. Coen Wubbels any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.   Brenton you get chinese crap... look at toyodiy.com for the part numbet and go with this number to the toyota dealer. Install chinese and do the work again very soon and probably at the worst location. ..

  Yup Marc u 100% correct there !! I only found this out recently which is also why i opted to go with a local series 80 donor rolling chassis... U can check the origin of your cruiser with the VIN nr on TOYOdiy.com.. Turns out mine came from canada and the 'local' donor i bought from Saudi.. Dammit thought that they all would be from JAPAN!! There are such small but significant diffirences... A mill here and offset bearing there and then u buggered...

  All these m-eu engines run the same parts in the cam driveline. If the chain tensioner is stripped then generally the chain has stretched out. I have an account at BNT, the guys say a kit for the m-eu engines ( m-eu , mteu, 4 me, 5 me) can be bought in so they are available , I also suspect toyota might have some NOS ......new old stock.... that they may want to sell at clearance cost. Could go check with them. If you are going to do work with it I suggest buying a complete kit, both chain guides, lower crank sprocket, cam sprocket, tensioner idler sprocket and tensioner. All P/N's available on toyodiy.com Just pays to replace all the parts due to wear on the gears.....chain an guides. .
