  Revati: Went there for my honeymoon and wrote a quick guide to help you pick a beach, what to do etc: http://different-doors.com/mauritius-guide. swim with the dolphins( the boat takes you out to sea and you jump in right between all the dolphins it's amazing) or fishing or snorkelling or if you like rum then goto the chamarel rhumerie or check out the seven coured earth, go ziplining. Skip the glass museum it's damn touristy. Madhu Sethi Go snorkelling or take a catamaran boat to see the dolphins- this happens before 12 noon normally. If you have the whole day, then ile aux cerf, shopping at port Louis and Curepipe...underwater seawalk is awesome. If you want to sightsee your hotel could easily arrange a half day/full day tour I'm sure...really depends on what your interest is.
