  Hello Ladies Who Lunch, I have a friend who is in dire need of a dentist that takes payment plans - he will need to have all his teeth removed I am sure. Major decay and has not seen a dentist in at least 15 years. Do any of you have any recommendations. He is not working at the moment so has zero coverage - trying to help him as I am sure it is effecting his health. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  He shouldn't take this the wrong way, but there's a clinic at the downtown men's shelter. The local oral surgeons from Argyle and Associates volunteer their time there. I'm not sure what the requirements are, but you don't have to be a resident of the shelter to qualify, as far as I know. There's no shame in asking for help, and getting help, when you need it. This would improve his overall health as well... Also, there is always Dental Card, this is a 3 rd party company that finances any amount over $300 or $500, I can't remember which. Like buying a car. You can choose how long the payment plan lasts, and apply online. If I can be of any help, please let me know (office 613-271-7091, and I'm in Kanata).
