Not certain if any of the doctors are taking new patients but I have seen at least 4 at the practice and they are all fabulous. 535 family practice. 535 Montreal Road. 613-746-5350. Good Luck!
Juless P. replied:
Dr Driscoll, Dr Bernier or Dr. Morris at Asclepios in Orleans. I know most places it takes a while to get your first meet and greet appointment:-( this practice has their own clinic next door run by the doctors of Asclepios that is very quick and easy to get in to see someone...if it's something that requires immediate attention they will get you in with a doctor within the week.

Quick question. My son (11) is needing physio for a severely sprained ankle. Any recommendations for clinics covered by OHIP? We're in Greely.
Kim S. replied:
Didnt OHIP cancel coverage of chiro and physio a few years ago? Id recommend Cooper Physio Cheryl A. Cooper
Karen D. replied:
Contact Cooper Physiotherapy Clinic - they're very skilled & knowledgeable & can answer your questions.
Cheryl C. replied:
There are very few OHIP licensed Physio clinics, as the licenses were discontinued in the 70 s. Carleton University, Ottawa District Physio and some Pro Physio clinics continue to provide limited OHIP visits. Cooper Physio Clinic is covered by extended health care through work or school. If the injury occurred during a sport eg minor hockey there may be coverage through the association's insurance coverage. Hope this helps
Victoria P. replied:
Your son would be OHIP covered as he's under 19 provided his doctor writes a referral. There are various ways for a child's physio or chiropractic needs to be addressed, however, we have very few clinics that deal with OHIP patients in Ottawa. Hope this helps. I'd call Champlain Health for more information. http://www.champlainhealthline.ca/listServicesDetailed.aspx?id=11019

Good Morning Lady's
I am looking for a Doctor taking new patients for My two girls 8 and 3. I am looking for a Dr. that can accommodate same day emergency appointment...
Jamie J. replied:
Download the Akira app in the meantime. You can FaceTime or text an Ontario doctor or nurse practitioner in minutes, they write prescriptions and send them directly to your pharmacy, send you for testing and referrals, there's psychologists on staff and it keeps you out of germy waiting rooms (I have a newborn!!). I've literally received the best health care from their staff- they're not rushed and actually give you the time you need. It has been worth every penny for my family and it's not that expensive. Ive attached a coupon if that helps and I'm happy to share my experience via PM. www.akira.md
Hilary M. replied:
I think most doctors have times set aside for seeing emergency patients, but you usually have to call early in the day. Here's the link for finding a doctor: https://www.ontario.ca/page/find-family-doctor-or-nurse-practitioner
Crystal B. replied:
Dr. E. Farhardi is a pediatrician with AIM Health in the Trainyards. She is a wonderful doctor. We just love her. They work as a team during "off hours" and weekends so you always have access to a pediatrician without going to a hospital or clinic. I'm not sure if she is accepting new patients or not but it's worth giving them a call.
