I need help finding the local organization that takes gently used women's business clothing and shoes, etc. to support women just entering the work force. Google not helping me. Can anyone suggest a name? Thanks.

Success in Style?
Debbie B. replied:
Success in Style does a fun - fundraiser each year called Pink Bag Lunch. they have clients wear clothing for a fashion show and they tell their stories. It is fun event and motivational too. Yes, they do give clients free clothing to help them back on their feet. They also have teenagers help in the store for community service hours.

Hi Sharon. Everyone above who mentioned Success in Style or Charities Closet above gave you the BEST suggestion. They are the same organization. I VOLUNTEER THERE, so if you don't feel like going to Savage Mill, you can drop your clothes off at my house and I'll take them there for you. (You can drop them off this Friday, and visit at the same time!!) My sister-in-law just did that and I have a big trash bag of clothes waiting to be taken there. If you decide to go there yourself, it is a fabulous place to shop! Everything is $5 and you can find all kinds of designer clothes and bags and shoes!!!

The "brother" store to Charity's Closet is "Phil O. Sophy" (I think that's how they spell it. It is next door to Charity's Closet in Savage Mill - both run by Success in Style.
