UPDATE: I took this little guy to the wildlife rehabilitation in Kent/ black diamond. Thank you everyone! Is there a vet hospital I can take this injured bird to? His wing is messed up and he can't fly, I need to get him out of my yard.

Helping look for someone who can care for a juvenile squirrel in need of help. He is currently being cared for but that person is unable to provide the constant care he's going to need for stability. He is approx 3-4 weeks old with open eyes.
I'm looking for a rescue that can take him. The only one I'm associated with is in Spokane. ***UPDATE: my rescue is willing to come from Spokane to get him if we can get him care for the next day or two***
I have three dogs so I cannot take him...my dogs have prey drives. Anyone qualified and willing?

In case of need in the future, the Humane Society sends wild ones to South Sound Critter Care in Kent. http://www.southsoundcrittercare.com
Anyone know of any good volunteer opportunities in the Maple Valley area?
Danielle K. replied:
South Sound Critter Care's regular volunteers need to be 16, but they have an opportunity for younger children to help through "family" volunteers, via baby squirrel foster care (which I imagine is a spring thing mostly). Here is more info: http://www.southsoundcrittercare.com/foster-squirrels.html

South Sound Critter Care that operates out of Sawyer Lake Veterinary Hospital has a very organized volunteer program.
