  Hi Everyone, we are moving in a few months to Washington State about 30 minutes from Tacoma. I wanted to get some vet recommendations. We love our vet now (in CT) and has helped us get our adopted baby Albert to the great health he's in now. It took awhile to find her, we found out some vets aren't big dog friendly and even some prejudice towards the breed. We want find a big dog friendly and knowledgable vet in our new area.   Hi Kimberly, I live in Puyallup, WA which is very close to Tacoma. I use River Road Animal Hospital and have been very pleased with their practice. I know other Bullmastiff owners who use them, too. They have an excellent practice, helpful office staff and a foot in the real world of a breeder/owner.   Any suggestions on a vet in the area that is reasonably priced for Xrays? I know it's a long shot. I've called a few and they won't give estimates, because the vet has to determine treatment plan. My puppy won't put weight on her paw and won't let me get a good look at it, so she'll probably need sedated for xrays. Her vet is overbooked and quoting me around $200 for Xrays with sedation. That's a bit pricey, so I'm hoping someone might know of a vet not quite so expensive? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  I second River Road. They have several caring doctors and extended hours!I have gone there since 1986 or so, when I had pet rats. My rabbits have gone, and my cats till go there. Hours-Open 7 Days Monday thru Friday 7:00AM-9:00PM Saturday 7:00AM-5:00PM Sunday 10:00AM-4:00PM http://www.riverroadanimalhospital.com/
