  One of transgender friends who just moved to Seattle is having an issue with her bike. Does anyone know of any WTF friendly shops in Seattle where she can take it? She states her problem as: "So I try to pedal my bike, but only my cassette spins and doesn't translate to my back wheel...anyone who knows bikes better than I have any suggestions other than loosen and tighten the wheel? Also the wheel spins fine if lifted off the ground." Any advice on a friendly shop or insight into possible solutions is appreciated. -Maddy

  A couple of ideas: If she wants a space to work on the bike herself with help: http://www.bikeshack.org in North Seattle. Also, Bike Works in South Seattle: http://bikeworks.org/bike-shop/. I have also had good luck with Recycled Cycles in the U-District.

Someone responded with a link to a craigslist seller who fixes up bikes in shoreline and sells them to burners for cheap. Does anyone have knowledge of that link?
